Arab Certified Quality Manager Program (ACQM)
Introduction:
The Arab Certified Quality Manager Program (ACQM) gives you a solid start in understanding quality concepts and the need for them. It provides you with the language, statistical methodology and analytical skills used in quality management and helps you understand your role in developing quality systems in your organization.
The Program:
The role of a quality manager is continuously evolving and nowadays requires a more comprehensive understanding of an organization as a structure within the larger system of society. At the same time, the range of tools and technologies that quality managers are required to use is also expanding.
AKMS believes that Arab Certified Quality Manager program will play a vital role in providing learning and recognition of achievement for individuals and trusts that it will be a valuable resource for professionals within the Arab world for them to understand how these and other processes for organizational improvement are interrelated.

Program Learning Outcomes:
Upon successfully completing the ACQM program, graduates will:
• Gain a critical understanding of key concepts, principles and practices relevant to each module, in addition to establishing links among them where appropriate.
• Apply the necessary skills at their workplace and have the ability to evaluate the applicability of general principles, concepts and practices to specific situations depending on the marketplace situation and its environment.
• Be able to engage in a professional discourse with other quality professionals.
• Gain confidence and competence in their areas of expertise and demonstrate them in the workplace.
Accreditation and Certificate:
ACQM Certificate is approved by the International Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), a globally recognized professional and educational certifying body. Participants will be granted the Certificate upon a successful completion of the ACQM training courses and examinations.

Teaching and Learning Methodology:

Time Frame:
Program modules are usually covered within a total of 88 training hours and include tests and training courses that aim at qualifying the candidate to sit for the program exam.
ACQM Examination:
To be awarded the ACQM Certificate, any candidate may sit for the exams without taking the training programs, with certain considerations taken by AKMS. Such candidate will have to provide evidence of qualifications and experience in the field of Quality Management.
Exam description:
The exam is held in Arabic or English and is divided into four sections: multiple choice, essay questions, explanation answers and short- answer questions. It is composed of two sessions, each of which lasts 90 minutes and represents the exam overall modules.
Dates and Location:
The program is held twice a year (participants will be informed of the exact dates via email/telephone). The program center, where participants go through both the qualifying training programs and the exams, is located at:
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization offices in all Arab countries.
Grading Scale:
A minimum average of 65/100 is required to pass the exam. If a candidate fails to pass one of the exam sessions, he or she will have the right to re-sit for the exam.
The name of the candidate who passes the ACQM exam shall be posted on the Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS) official website.
